IDENTITY THEFT
4-Credit Hours • April 23 – 9AM-1PM
Identity Theft is the second most frequently committed felony in this country. This course covers the history and evolution of Identity Theft from theft of Social Security checks in the 1970’s to computer hacking in the 21st century. Among the items discussed are, the ease of creating fake ID’s, review of the personal information that can be obtained on the internet, case studies of real life Identity Theft schemes, and ways that you can prevent being victimized by Identity Theft.
