On Monday, April 26, more than 100 local area residents visited Tri State Restoration’s facilities in Clarksburg, MD to take home an essential food box during our second-annual TSR Gives Back event!
Food boxes were filled with nonperishable items like rice, beans, canned meats, fruits and veggies, pasta, sauce and boxed milk. Stuffed with enough food to provide a family of four with four or more meals, these boxes offered a helping hand to DMV area families hit by hardship.
Not only did attendees receive crucial food assistance in their time of need, they also received a different kind of essential service, Flu shots! This year, Tri State partnered up with the Love for Lochlin Foundation, who’s mission is to help prevent, educate, and drive awareness to the deadly impacts of infectious diseases like influenza. Love for Lochlin’s co-founder, Brooke DeSantis, joined Tri State representatives onsite during the event and provided TSR Gives Back attendees free flu shots and Covid-19 vaccine registration assistance.
“Tri State’s not just about Turning Disaster into Peace of Mind® for someone faced with a property loss, it’s about providing peace of mind to our local area residents in many other ways. Today we served those in our community that have been hit hard by a different kind of disaster, Covid-19. Now, even one year later, many are still being severely affected by this pandemic and I feel as a local business owner, it’s my responsibility to give back to the community I serve. It was a privilege to put together our second-annual food drive with support from the Love for Lochlin Foundation and I’m thrilled to have been able to help more than 100 families in need.” Mark Wilson, President/CEO Tri State Restorations.
Special thanks to Love for Lochlin Foundation, 88 Visual and Jennifer Bennett with FirstService Residential for coming out and supporting our local community!
